VCS 13 Backpacker Tarp

A growing number of canoe trippers have already made our VCS 16 Backpacker Bug Shelter a key component of their canoe tripping gear. (we have heard numerous accounts where these shelters allowed for a peaceful respite on trips where insects were akin to flying leeches) We also heard ‘do you have one smaller?’ Now we do! The VCS 13 is designed to protect 2 to 4 campers and packs smaller and lighter. You have two VCS 13 tarp options with the mesh enclosure fitting either tarp.

• Variable component system (VCS) allows you to purchase only what you require.
• VCS tarps can be used separately for easy set up, rain or sun protection
• All VCS tarp come with Side release buckles (SRB’s) so the VCS mesh enclosure can be fitted to create your bug free enclosure
• Creative souls can rig the VCS mesh enclosure to be used separately. (We have set up over the Thunderbox on a few occasions!)

• Constructed using 75D polyester with 2000mm coatings and taped seams

  VCS 13 Tarp SUL

• Constructed using ultralite silicon treated polyester with 1500mm coatings and taped seams

VCS 13 Mesh Enclosure

• Constructed with all nosseeum mesh, 4 walls and roof
• Lower splash panels and inturned sod cloth panels use 75D coated polyester
• Zippers at either end of enclosure
