Help For Haiti
Take a look around where you are right now. I expect you have a roof over your head, for walls..., you get the idea. Now image that in a few seconds all of that is reduced to rubble and replaced by nothing more than a tarp and that is your new home. Then image someone bringing you a tent, a shelter that supplies you with a roof, four walls, protection from the elements and some type of privacy. If you are like me you would be grateful to receive this tent.
For us this is all just imagination yet for hundreds of thousands in Haiti alone it is a reality. I expect we have all contributed to help is many ways yet more help is still required. WE can help supply these tents!! The Christian Fellowship Church in Sauble Beach (see their video) has started a campaign TheTentProkectHaiti whereby individuals or groups can purchase tents that will be collected and shipped to Haiti.
Suntrail Outfitters in Hepworth, a retailer near to this church has volunteered to be the outlet where the tent purchases can be made. Both Suntrail and Eureka have eliminated all profits so these tents can be purchased at as low a cost as possible. You can also drop off or donate 'gently used' family tents that you may have gathering dust at home.
